Definition
The condition of air inside buildings as it relates to the health and comfort of occupants. Indoor air can contain pollutants like volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide, radon, mold spores, and particulate matter, often at concentrations 2-5 times higher than outdoor air.
